Lucy Liu to Guest Star on Joey
|
 Lucy Liu ("Charlie's Angels") has signed on as a guest star in at least two upcoming episodes of Joey.
Liu will play Lauren, the tough executive producer of the series "Deep Powder" in which Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) plays the father of one of the main characters. Her first episode will be a Christmas-themed episode, which is being shot this week. This is the first time Liu and LeBlanc have worked together since the two "Charlie's Angels" films.
This is Liu's first on-screen television appearance since Ally McBeal. Her feature film credits include both "Charlie's Angels" films, both "Kill Bill" films, Chicago and Shanghai Noon.
Joey, which airs Thursdays at 8:00pm on NBC, is a Bright-San Production, a Silver and Gold Production in association with Warner Bros. Television.

New Joey Spoilers and More!!!
|
I just got back from the taping of Episode 10 of Joey that will air on November 18th. Before the taping started, they also showed us next week's episode, Joey and the Dream Girl Part 2. So I've updated the Spoilers Page with some quick and accurate descriptions of both episodes. Check back really soon though for a complate taping experience (much like mine posted 3 years ago on Friends Cafe) where I will describe in detail what it's like to attend a taping of Joey, including details on how to attend a taping, what goes on when the cameras are off, bloopers, stage and scene details, fan interaction with the cast, and more! I'd do it now, but I just got back from the taping, some 13 hours later after first going there, so I'm pretty beat. But please visit later this weekend for all of the details. 
We're also opening a new "taping experiences" section, so if you've seen a taping of Joey and would like to share it with the world, please contact us with your story so we may post it.
