  Congrats to Drea for her win for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series for her role in The Sopranos. Great job Drea! Unfortunately Matt Le Blanc didn't win an Emmy at the 56th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday night, September 19th, but he looked very handsome. BURBANK, Calif. -– September 17, 2004 -– The season premiere of "Will & Grace" joined forces with the new comedy "Joey" and "The Apprentice" to power NBC to a Thursday night win in adults 18-49 and other key measures, according to preliminary "fast national" in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

How's NBC Doin'? Fine with 'Joey'
|
 Led by the premiere of "Joey," NBC topped the Labor Day holiday week ended September 12.
The much-anticipated "Friends" spinoff soared out of the gate for NBC Thursday with 18.6 million viewers and a 7.5 rating/23 share among adults 18-49, according to Nielsen Media Research.
The Matt LeBlanc starrer "Joey" topped the weekly program rankings in total viewers and adults 18-49 and posted the highest 18-49 score of any non-Olympics program since the May sweep.

Jennifer Aniston guest appearance on Joey confirmed
|
 Jennifer Aniston will be the first "Friend" to visit Joey on Hollywood. Jennifer was spotted on the Warner Bros set where Joey is filmed.
Later the producers confirmed that Jennifer will be included on an episode of the first season.
Matt LeBlanc had said that he wanted one of the old gang to appear on the show. According to the producers, Jennifer Aniston was the natural choice.
"She couldn't wait to get back on the old Friends stage. She did her thing and spent the rest of the day hanging out with Matt" says a source.

Estimated 18.6M Watch 'Joey' Debut on NBC
|
NEW YORK (AP) - Based on its series premiere, Joey Tribbiani is missing a few viewers along with his ``Friends.'' An estimated 18.6 million people watched the first episode of ``Joey'' Thursday, the spinoff of ``Friends'' that NBC was counting on to keep its Thursday night lineup strong, according to Nielsen Media Research.
That's lower than any original episode of Matt LeBlanc's old series drew last season, including the 24.5 million people who saw the season debut.
NBC notes that ``Joey'' gathered the largest audience among the advertiser-friendly 18-to-49-year-old age group of any other entertainment show since May. It was also the best-rated 8 p.m. comedy premiere for NBC in 14 years. ... Read More ...
