New Joey episodes in August
|
According to NBC's Joey website, It appears that NBC are going to air the remaining Joey episodes after all.
Joey was first pulled by the network in December, and New Joey episodes haven't aired since March. On May NBC officially canceled the show.
Although NBC haven't aired the remaining episodes, they were still broadcasted in other countries. Now it appears NBC are finally going to air the episodes on the USA.
The NBC website also includes a sneak preview to the next episode of Joey, "Joey and the Dad" that will be aired in August.

'Joey' axed as NBC unveils '06-07 schedule

The death knell finally sounded for Joey today as NBC unveiled its slate for the 2006-07 season.
The Friends
spinoff was first pulled by the network in December, then again
following its return in March to less-than-impressive ratings. The
remaining few episodes may now air over the summer.

LeBlanc files for Divorce

Hollywood actor Matt LeBlanc, who played the good-humored ladies' man Joey on the smash hit television comedy "Friends," filed for divorce on Thursday from his wife of three years, Melissa Sue.
The 38-year-old actor, who now appears in "Friends" spinoff "Joey," filed a dissolution of marriage petition in Los Angeles Superior Court under his full name, Matthew Steven LeBlanc, and listed the date of separation as January 1, 2006. ... Read More ...

Joey On DVD

 According to tvshowsondvd.com, the first season of Joey will be released on DVD in the US on May 30th. Right now there's no news on special features that might be included nor any places taking pre-orders but as soon as we hear more we'll be sure to post it here. For now be sure to discuss this in our forum with other fans.

Joey Returns On Tuesdays In March
|
According to thefutoncritic.com , "Joey" returns with original episodes on Tuesday, March 7 at 8-8:30 p.m. (ET), in place of "Fear Factor" which will return to the schedule this summer. Encore broadcasts of "Joey" will air at 8:30-9 p.m. (ET) from March 7-21 until "Scrubs" encore broadcasts take over on March 28.
