NBC's Friends spin-off Joey is set to undergo some fine-tuning before it debuts in the fall, says The Hollywood Reporter. The producers of the Warner Bros. comedy decided Tuesday to redevelop the character of Joey's (Matt LeBlanc) sexy new neighbor in Los Angeles. Ashley Scott (Walking Tall, TV's Birds of Prey), who played the character in the pilot, will be gone. Ashley's scenes will be reshot once the creators of the series, Shana Goldberg-Meehan and Scott Silveri, tweak the concept for the character and recast it. The pilot scored high marks in its audience testing with the exception of the neighbor character that didn't fare well.
